At the recently concluded Mobile World Congress 2019 in Barcelona, OPPO officially showcased its 10X Lossless zoom technology crammed in a smartphone. The OPPO VP has again shared some details on the launch itinerary of the OPPO model.

The name of the model is still unknown but ahead of the launch in April, the company VP hinted that fans will get a chance to pick up the device as soon as it is released.  As a reminder, the 10x optical zoom uses a periscopic lens system. Although it seems the device has a triple camera setup but in the real sense, there are just two visible sensors; a 48MP main + wide-angle camera, both with OIS. The third lens is a prism, hence the shape is not round like the others. Light travels through the prism where it meets about five lenses before hitting the image sensor. The camera interface comes with a slider which changes the zoom level as it slides up. In other specs, the device is expected to feature a Snapdragon 855 chipset.
