OPPO recently showcased its breakthrough periscopic camera lens technology which offers 10X lossless zoom for smartphone photography. The camera samples that have been shared shows the feature isn’t just gimmick but could be real. That technology would find its way into a smartphone with the upcoming OPPO Reno. The Reno is expected to be launched on April 10 and ahead of that, the company has revealed quite a number of details about the device, thanks to the company’s VP Bryan Shen. Bryan has been the source of most of the stuff we know about the device and his latest disclosure is Reno’s colour options.

The OPPO Reno will be available in four different color options namely Sea Green, Midnight Black, Pink and Nebula Purple. The green and pink colour variants seem to have a frosted glass finish while the Black and Purple options will have a mirror finish. Whichever colour or finish it adopts, the Reno will sure have a sleek design with well-chamfered edges and 3D curved body.oppo reno

OPPO Reno is a flagship model that would be powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 855 chipset. Another major highlight of the model is the 48MP Sony sensor onboard.  The device will also pack a big 4064mAh battery. Since it is a flagship model, one would have expected the device will have wireless charging support but that isn’t going to happen. OPPO disclosed recently that it wouldn’t feature its SuperVOOC fast charger and that seems to be as a result of the big battery. Instead, the device will have the VOOC 2.0 fast charging technology.
