Xiaomi is one of the few tech firms that resumed work today i.e. February 10th. Xiaomi Product Director Wang Teng announced the company’s decision to provide a coronavirus protection “three-piece bundle” to each employee.

In his Weibo post, Mr. Teng revealed Xiaomi employees were given three things including a couple of medical masks, alcohol disinfection spray, and a sanitizer.

Redmi‘s General Manager Lu Weibing also advised people to focus on safety via a Weibo post that read: “Everyone, are you back to work today? Be sure to pay attention to protection to ensure safety.”

Responding to the call, Xiaomi’s co-founder Lei Jun wrote, “We all use medical protective masks. Do you know these people?” Mentioning the topic, he requested #Please leave the medical N95 mask to the first line of medical care #.

The latest reports suggest shipment of masks that were purchased online has started since domestic mask production capacity has been restored. Moreover, some other reports suggest that the resumption rate of companies making these masks has reached 73 percent.
