The Core i3 RedmiBooks may start at less than Rs. 25,000 while the less powerful models may cost lower than Rs. 20,000. The highest model could be priced around Rs. 33,000 (~$435). Also, the RedmiBooks for India may not have the same kind of RAM and storage that are available on the Mi Notebooks. However, the Redmi laptops will have attractive design and color options and they are expected to offer long-lasting battery life of around 10 hours. The Redmi notebooks are also expected to offer users a wide range of connectivity options and ports. Lastly, the Redmi notebooks will be running on Windows 10 Home edition.

The arrival of the RedmiBooks in India could be timed with the re-opening of schools and colleges in the country. Hence, there is a possibility that the Redmi notebooks may launch around mid-July to mid-August.
