The Blade V2020 smartphone sports a 6.82-inch screen with a FullHD+ resolution. The device is powered by a UNISOC SC9863A SoC. The chipset is an entry-level octa-core SoC with 8 ARM Cortex-A55 cores in two clusters and built with a 28nm HPC+ process technology. The chipset is a 4G processor that supports TD-LTE, LTE FDD, WCDMA, TD-SCDMA, GSM and other network standards. It is also bundled with an IMG8322 graphics processor.

For photography, the ZTE V2020 adopts a Quad-camera setup at the rear consisting of a 16-megapixel main camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, a 2-megapixel macro lens, and a 2-megapixel depth-of-field lens. ZTE Blade V2020
