Blackview has just updated its rugged smartphone portfolio with a new BV lineup which will cater to the user’s need to practically work anywhere. The company’s first product in the lineup is the new Blackview BV9900E.

Blackview’s rugged smartphones are known to withstand tough environments and are preferred by consumers across the globe who work in extreme conditions. Be it construction site workers, emergency responders, or those working in rough conditions, these rugged smartphones are built to survive water, drops, and shocks.

 

Blackview BV9900E has passed the top-level IP68, IP69K, and MIL-STD-810G military standards for waterproofing and dust proofing. The phone can even operate at -30°C. 

According to the company, the Blackview BV9900E has three technology upgrades:

  1. Tough metal frame, dependable build quality, Corning® Gorilla® Glass 5, solid drop-resistance, and scratch-resistance.
  2. Shock-proof liquid silicone casing, raising the bar for protection against damage from drops.

While we don’t know the exact processor inside the new model, it is said that the Blackview BV9900E could feature MediaTek’s Helio P90, making it a mid-range rugged device.
