Lenovo will be announcing the Legion 2 Pro gaming smartphone in China on April 8. Today, the company took to Weibo to confirm the display size and the supported refresh rate.

Lenovo has confirmed that the Legion 2 Pro smartphone will be sporting a massive 6.92-inch display. In comparison, the original Legion Pro from last year featured a smaller 6.55-inch AMOLED display. While the company has increased the screen size, the refresh rate remains at 144Hz like the predecessor model.

Lenovo China Mobile Business Department General Manager Chen Jin confirmed that the device is equipped with a Samsung AMOLED E4 display and it offers a notch-less design. He added that Legion 2 Pro has a fully symmetrical screen, which offers the fastest refresh rate and lowest latency in the industry.

Yesterday, the Lenovo Legion 2 Pro smartphone was spotted at the Master Lu benchmarks. The listing revealed that its screen offers a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2460 pixel and a 20.5:9 aspect ratio.

The Lenovo Legion 2 Pro will be powered by the Snapdragon 888 chipset. Master Lu revealed that the device will come in three variants such as 12 GB RAM + 128 GB storage, 12 GB RAM + 256 GB storage, and 16 GB RAM + 512 GB storage. It will come preloaded with Android 11 OS.

The Legion 2 Pro is expected to come with a side-mounted camera for shooting selfies. It may feature dual USB-C ports and offer support up to 110W fast charging. Lastly, it will come with a dual-turbo cooling fan. The other details of the phone are under the wraps.
