Chinese tipsters are now sharing a screenshot Mi Store version of China on Weibo. The reason behind it is that it is now showing a banner of a mysterious Xiaomi Civi device that will debut at 2 PM (local time) on Sept. 27. The machine-translated version of the Chinese text in the poster reads “A natural and beautiful technology conference,” which indicates that it will be sporting an impressive design. The image of a retail box in the image suggests that the Xiaomi Civi could be an upcoming smartphone.

Several reports have claimed that Xiaomi will be announcing the Xiaomi CC11 smartphone soon in China. It is likely to be a rebranded version of the Xiaomi 11 Lite NE 5G, which was announced in global markets last week. It is now being speculated that instead of launching it as CC11, the company may call it Xiaomi Civi.

Xiaomi Civi specifications (expected)

A Xiaomi phone with model number 2107119DC was approved by the TENAA authority of China last month. This device is said to be the Chinese variant of the Xiaomi 11 Lite NE 5G. The handset features a 6.55-inch AMOLED FHD+ punch-hole display, Snapdragon 778G chipset, 6 GB / 8 GB / 12 GB of RAM, a 4,250mAh battery that supports 33W rapid charging, and 128 GB / 256 GB / 512 GB of native storage.

The handset features a 20-megapixel camera for capturing selfies. Its rear camera setup is headlined by a 64-megapixel main camera. It is likely to be accompanied by an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens, and a 5-megapixel macro camera. For security, it has a side-facing fingerprint scanner.

There is a possibility that Xiaomi Civi could be some other device and not a smartphone. Hence, it is advisable to wait for more information to appear to know the true identity of Xiaomi Civi.
