A few days ago, POCO announced it has a new smartphone set for launch on September 30. The teaser poster for the announcement hinted at the new device launching under its C-series of smartphones. Today, POCO has let the cat out of the bag and revealed the new phone will launch as the POCO C31. Yes, that sure is a big jump from C3.
A short teaser video shared on Twitter today confirmed the name of the phone and also gave us an early look at the device.
It's strong. It's secure. It's fast. It's the #POCOC31!

The POCO C31 is shown to have a waterdrop notch, slim side bezels, and a thicker bottom bezel. Unfortunately, the teaser doesn’t show the back of the phone. However, there is a chance we may see a full reveal as well as a confirmation of some of its specifications before the launch on Thursday.
The new phone should be affordable and should arrive as a rival to the Realme C25Y that was launched a few weeks ago in India. The Realme C25Y is a Unisoc T610-powered phone with a 6.5-inch LCD HD+ display, 50MP triple rear cameras, a 5000mAh battery, and a ₹10,999 (~$149) price tag.
