Tecno has silently unveiled the POVA 5G as its first 5G-ready handset. Like the predecessor POVA series of smartphones, the POVA 5G comes with a massive display and a huge battery. In addition, it is equipped with a 50-megapixel quad-camera unit. Here is all the information on the specifications and features of the POVA 5G.

Right off the bat, the Tecno POVA 5G features a massive 6.95-inch IPS LCD panel with a punch-hole design. It offers 1080 x 2460 pixels, Full HD+ resolution, 480ppi pixel density, and a 120Hz refresh rate. The Dimensity 900 chipset is present under the hood of the POVA 5G.
The POVA 5G has 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB of UFS 3.1 storage. It boots to HiOS flavored Android 11. The device comes with 3 GB of virtual RAM. For security, the device is fitted with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. Shown in the images is the Aether Black edition of the POVA 5G.
The rear camera system of the POVA 5G has a 50-megapixel primary camera, a 2-megapixel camera, and an AI lens. For selfies, the device is fitted with a 16-megapixel front-facing camera. The POVA 5G offers photography features such as 4K time-lapse and panorama.
The Tecno POVA 5G has a 6,000mAh battery, which is coupled with 18W fast charging. The company claims that a 15-minute charge will offer 3 hours of gameplay time. The POVA 5G offers 775 hours of standby time, 55 hours of talk time, and 11 hours of gaming. The device measures 172.82 x 78.24mm, and its thickness is less than 1cm.

It is being said that the POVA 5G has been introduced with a price tag of $289. However, there is no official confirmation on it yet. Also, there are no details on its availability.
