While the Pixel 6 series was a success in the market, it is also known for being one of the most buggiest smartphones from Google. The brand has offered various fixes for a lot of these issues, but the amount of bugs might have the company lose out on customers.
According to a TradingPlatform’s Edith Reads, the Search Engine giant might be losing out on its loyal userbase over the number of issues its Pixel 6 series have been facing. As per the latest analysis from her company, the Pixel devices have a drastic fall in popularity. The report adds that as many as 36 percent of the Pixel owners are considering to abandon the brand for another smartphone maker.
Overall, the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro has seen great reception in the market. However, the two flagship smartphones have been plagued with a number of bugs ever since they were first launched. The issues ranged from problems with the display, its fingerprint scanner, and many more. As of right now, most of these issues have been addressed but there are still issues that affect the device on a hardware level.
A great example being the fingerprint scanner, which has been slow since the start. The updates have attempted to fix this but the scanner is still slower than other rivals in the market. While many of the bugs were minor inconveniences, TradingPlatforms’s report has suggested that Pixel 6 series has not been performing well at carrier stores.
