LG Electronics USA has released pricing and availability information for the LG Ultra PC Premium Laptop Series 2022. According to the company, the 16- and 17-inch screens on the 2022 Ultra PCs are ideal for a wide range of customers who want portability, style, and lightweight without sacrificing performance.
These new Ultra PCs are equipped with 12th-generation Intel processors or AMD Ryzen processors. The 17-inch model is powered by Intel, while the 16-inch model is powered by AMD.
The 17-inch model has an IPS WQXGA 2,560 x 1,600 resolution display with a 16:10 aspect ratio. The panel offers 99% coverage of the DCI-P3 color gamut. Under the hood, it features an Intel Core i7 processor, Nvidia RTX 3050 graphics, and a Gen4 512GB NVMe SSD with 16GB DDR5 RAM. It also has a large 80Wh battery pack. Lastly, the laptop measures 15 x 10.78 x 0.78 inches and weighs 4.37 pounds (1.98 kg).
Coming to the 16-inch model features a 1,920 x 1200 resolution display. Under the hood, the device features an AMD Ryzen 7 5825U chipset paired with 16GB of LPDDR4 RAM and a 512GB/1TB NVME SSD. For graphics, the 16-inch model features an integrated AMD Radeon Vega 8. Both models come with a stereo speaker setup with two 1.5W speakers.
Pricing and availability
The LG Ultra PC 17-inch (17U70Q) is priced at $1599, while the LG Ultra PC 16-inch (16U70Q) is priced at $1299. Both laptops are available for purchase from LG.com and select retailers like Best Buy in the US.
