The update brings several enhancements to the device’s functionality, particularly focusing on stability improvements and screen-off display options. One of the prominent additions in this update is the expansion of the screen-off display options. Previously, users had limited choices for their off-screen display settings. However, the new update introduces two additional options: all-day display and timing display. These options can be accessed through the “Display Mode” setting menu, allowing users to customize their device’s off-screen appearance according to their preferences.
Huawei has taken measures to ensure that the screen-off display features do not cause burn-in issues. The company’s customer service team has clarified that the screen-off display time and background image have been optimized to prevent burn-in. To prevent static images from lingering on the screen, the background image will periodically move downward and upward every minute. Additionally, when the background image nears the fingerprint icon, they will be displayed alternately to avoid overlapping.
