Many users are reporting burns from Apple‘s latest iPhone 15 Pro, suggesting a possible severe overheating problem. Before its official release, some reviewers had already raised concerns about the phone’s A17 Pro chip heating up too much.
Too Hot to Handle? iPhone 15 Pro Users Share Overheating Issues
Many people on social media are sharing pictures of burns on their thighs and fingers, saying they happened because their iPhone 15 overheated. They believe these incidents are real and stress the importance of experiencing such issues to truly understand them.
Apple has recognized the overheating concern. They stated that the iPhone 15 Pro might get hotter than usual, especially during the first days of use. This suggests that the initial setup or restoration of the device might push it to run at higher temperatures.
Some tech experts believe that Apple might have sacrificed efficient heat dissipation to make the iPhone 15 Pro thinner and lighter. This model has a smaller area to let out heat, which can lead to overheating. The new titanium frame used in its design could be another reason. This material transfers heat faster than the old stainless steel frame, possibly contributing to the problem.
In addition to the heating issue, some iPhone 15 Pro users have reported problems with the NFC chips, especially after charging their phones on BMW’s wireless pads. This has affected functions like Apple Pay and digital car keys. Apple hasn’t fully addressed this yet, but users are advised to be careful when using BMW’s chargers for now.
