Korean tech giant LG has unveiled a futuristic Smart Cottage, a modular and energy-efficient modern home appliance system. The Smart Cottage’s module components are made with solid low-carbon steel materials produced by POSCO, a Korean steel firm. The cottage is a culmination of LG’s collaboration with Dan-Wood, a European timber prefab company.

The Smart Cottage is a prefabricated house fully stocked with premium LG appliances atop an efficient heating and cooling architecture. It offers efficient heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC), and solar energy supply. The LG Smart Cottage has touches of warm hardwood, tile, and fabric finishes across the smart residence.
