Samsung is reportedly working on a new fitness tracker, the Samsung Galaxy Fit 3. Leaked renders (via WindowsReport) of the upcoming device have surfaced online, revealing a refreshed design.

First look at the Samsung Galaxy Fit 3!

The Samsung Galaxy Fit 3 appears to be bigger than its predecessor, with a wider display capsule that now has a metallic design. The watchband no longer holds the capsule inside it, and instead, Samsung seems to be going with non-removable straps.

There’s also a button on the right edge of the device, but we don’t know what it does yet. It could be a shortcut button, a dedicated back button, or something else entirely.

The leaked renders show the Samsung Galaxy Fit 3 in a rose gold hue with a light pink strap. However, we can expect Samsung to launch the device in other colors as well.

The report also suggests that Samsung could use Android OS on the Fit 3 instead of the rtOS-based OS that we have seen on the previous generation Fit 2. This would be a significant change, as it would give the Fit 3 more features and capabilities.

For the health-tracking side of things, the Fit 3 seems to have an optical heart rate monitoring sensor at the back, along with Pogo pins for charging.

Other than that, we don’t have any other details about the Samsung Galaxy Fit 3 yet. But we can expect to learn more about the device in the coming weeks or months.
