The company has now revealed through X (ex-Twitter) that the device will commence shipping in March 2024. Shipments will be prioritized based on the order of user orders, ensuring those who ordered first receive their products first.

Humane AI Pin Specifications:

The AI Pin is a compact, square-shaped device designed to be worn on clothing. It’s equipped with OpenAI’s GPT-4 and Microsoft’s AI models, and it requires a $24 monthly subscription for cellular data and AI model usage. This subscription is necessary for the device’s operation and includes a phone number along with data coverage through T-Mobile’s network.

What sets the AI Pin apart is its unique “laser ink display” feature. This innovative technology projects a green, monochrome user interface onto the user’s palm at a 720p resolution. The device allows interaction through various gestures and voice commands, enabling functionalities such as photography, translation, and calorie recognition. This screenless wearable device operates without the need for manual app downloads, thanks to its Cosmos operating system, which automatically directs user queries to the relevant tools.

The AI Pin is lightweight, weighing about 34 grams, with an additional 20 grams for its battery booster. It boasts a 13-megapixel camera and a “Personic Speaker,” which adjusts volume for personal or group settings. Additionally, it can connect to Bluetooth headphones.

The device is designed to offer an array of AI tools conveniently and intuitively. The company’s vision with the AI Pin is to provide a futuristic and seamless integration of AI into everyday life, potentially transforming how we interact with technology.
