Asus has kickstarted the global rollout of the Android 14 update for Zenfone 10, including models sold in the EU. The latest software version, 34.1004.0204.65, brings a slew of improvements and features to enhance user experience. Here’s what you need to know:

How to Get the Update:

To access the Android 14 update, ensure your Zenfone 10 is on software version 33.0220.0220.101. The 1.3GB update is gradually reaching devices based on their serial numbers, so it might take a few days for everyone to receive it.

  1. Revamped System Apps:
    • Mobile Manager, Contacts, Phone, Emergency Dialer, File Manager, Calculator, Clock, Gallery, Weather, Sound recorder, Settings, Phone Clone, Local backup, Launcher, and more have undergone a facelift.
  2. Customization Features:
    • Users now have the ability to customize the color and brightness of the clock widget on the lock screen.
  3. Enhanced Permissions:
    • Introduces a new “Photos and Videos” permission, along with a system photo picker for improved control over app access to relevant information.
  4. Battery Usage Display:
    • The display method for battery usage has been adjusted, allowing users to view app usage in segments.
  5. Audio Improvements:
    • Resolves speakerphone call echo issues and optimizes Bluetooth connectivity, addressing occasional headset disconnection and noise problems.

Manual Update:
