Gitstar, a Chinese PC hardware company, has recently unveiled its first fully domestically produced motherboard series. The flagship model, GM7-2602-02, marks a significant advancement in China’s tech industry, emphasizing self-reliance in technology.

This motherboard is a mini-ITX (M-ITX) form factor board, a compact size of 170mm x 170mm and lightweight at about 200g, making it suitable for smaller computer cases. At the heart of the GM7-2602-02 is the Phytium’s Feiteng D2000 octa-core processor, which runs at a maximum speed of 2.3GHz. This processor ensures efficient performance for various computing tasks.
The GM7-2602-02 motherboard stands out for its support of up to 32GB of domestic memory, featuring dual-channel SODIMM memory slots that are compatible with both DDR4 and LPDDR4 memory types. This provides users with versatility and the potential for high-speed performance.
The motherboard is equipped with a range of connectivity options. It includes one PCIe 3.0 x16 slot, a PCIe 3.0 x1 (M.2) slot, and a PCIe 3.0 x1 (MINIPCIE) slot, providing ample room for expansion.
