Redmi’s K70 lineup includes three models, such as the Redmi K70e, K70, and K70 Pro, powered by the Dimensity 8300, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, and the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipsets, respectively. The company is expected to unveil the Redmi K70 Ultra with the Dimensity 9300 Plus chip onboard in July of this year in China, before switching its focus to the Redmi Note 14 series and the Redmi K80 Pro series, which are expected to debut in the last quarter of this year. Well ahead of the launch, tipster Digital Chat Station, has leaked the key specifications of what seems to be the Redmi K80 Pro.

Without mentioning the name of the device, DCS revealed that an upcoming “sub-series” phone will feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset, a 5,500mAh battery, and a flat OLED screen that produces a 2K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate.

Rumor has it that the Redmi K80 Pro, set to launch in China in November, may have these specs. The details about its RAM, storage, and camera configurations are yet to be revealed. 

As per other reports, the Redmi K80 will come equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. Like the Pro model, the standard variant’s flat OLED screen is expected to support a 2K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It is likely that the K80 Pro may feature a telephoto camera like the K70 Pro. However, it’s unclear if Redmi will incorporate a telephoto camera into the K80.

According to another leaker, both phones will have a new design on the back. Both phones have a new glass material on the back.

As mentioned above, Redmi is reportedly developing the Redmi Note 14 Pro series of phones. A recent report revealed that the Note 14 Pro will feature an AMOLED panel that offers a 1.5K resolution, the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset, and a 5,000mAh battery.
