Rumors about the OnePlus 13 keep surfacing, and a new leak gives us a closer look at its design and camera system. We already knew it would likely feature the next-gen Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chip, but this latest information adds more detail.
Reputable tipster Digital Chat Station shared an image that appears to show the OnePlus 13 in a protective cover. While the phone’s full design remains hidden, the image clearly highlights the camera module.
Here’s what the OnePlus 13 might look like
Unlike previous OnePlus flagships, where the camera module blends into the phone’s edge, the OnePlus 13 seems to feature a standalone area for its cameras.
The leak also reveals some technical details about the camera system. The periscope telephoto lens reportedly uses a more efficient structure, similar to the one in the iPhone 16 Pro Max.

Likewise, the telephoto lens is said to offer 3x optical zoom, along with a slightly larger main sensor. Interestingly, the OnePlus 13 is rumored to use the same image processing algorithms as the Oppo Find X8, which makes sense given that both companies now share the same parent company.
While the tipster didn’t specify the exact camera sensors, previous leaks suggest the OnePlus 13 will feature a 50-megapixel LYT-808 sensor with optical image stabilization for the primary camera. It is likely to be joined by two LYT-600 sensors for ultra-wide and telephoto shots.
Although this leak doesn’t reveal much beyond the camera design, it adds another piece to the OnePlus 13 puzzle. We can likely expect a refined camera system with enhanced telephoto capabilities and top-tier image processing, thanks to the rumored Oppo Find X8 influence.
The OnePlus 13 is expected to launch in China by the end of October, with a global release following in January 2025. We will be sure to keep you in the loop on any new updates on the phone.
