The Vivobook 16 features a 16-inch Full HD+ (1920 x 1200) display with a 16:10 aspect ratio, offering extra vertical space that’s ideal for tasks like editing documents or coding. The matte-coated screen helps with glare, but its 300-nit peak brightness is just enough for indoor use and struggles under strong lighting or sunlight. Colour performance is limited, with just 45% NTSC and 55% sRGB coverage, making it unsuitable for color-sensitive tasks like photo editing. While contrast and black levels are fair, overall vibrancy and depth fall short, and the 60Hz refresh rate feels underwhelming compared to newer 120Hz panels.
The keyboard is a strong point, offering good key travel (1.7mm) and a spacious layout with a full number pad. Typing feels comfortable for extended periods, though the silver keys with white backlighting may reduce visibility in dim settings.
