Google has rolled out the Pixel 10 lineup with a fresh batch of AI tools, but one new feature is drawing particular attention for its familiar approach. The “Daily Hub,” shown off at the company’s Made by Google event, looks a lot like Samsung’s Now Brief introduced earlier this year with the Galaxy S25.

Available across the Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, Pixel 10 Pro XL, and Pixel 10 Pro Fold, Daily Hub acts as a personalized feed that updates throughout the day. A swipe from the home screen or a tap on its icon brings up schedules, weather forecasts, reminders, news headlines, playlists, and more. Google says its “Magic Cue” AI can even pull useful details from emails and messages to surface things like bill reminders or to-do tasks.

The idea echoes Samsung’s Now Brief, which also aggregates timely info but ties more closely into Samsung’s ecosystem, pulling health stats from Galaxy watches, for example. Google hasn’t confirmed whether Daily Hub will support third-party integrations at launch, but its focus appears to be on unifying Google services like Calendar, News, and YouTube Music.

All Pixel 10 models ship with Android 16 and the new Tensor G5 chip, alongside Gemini Live for conversational AI features. Pricing starts at $799 for the Pixel 10 and climbs to $1,799 for the Pixel 10 Pro Fold, with availability beginning soon after the event.

By bringing Daily Hub to the Pixel line, Google is positioning itself directly against Samsung’s AI-driven approach to personalization. While the concept isn’t entirely new, Google’s tight integration across its own apps could give it an edge for users already locked into the company’s ecosystem.
