Huawei is preparing to introduce its next smartwatch, the Watch GT 6, at an event in Paris on September 19, 2025. The company has started teasing the device with the tagline “Ride the Wind,” hinting at a focus on outdoor sports and fitness tracking.

The Watch GT 6 is expected to bring upgraded GPS features, using Huawei’s Sunflower Positioning System for more accurate navigation during activities like cycling, running, skiing, and golf. These advanced modes were previously limited to the GT 5 Pro, but now look to be part of the regular GT lineup. Huawei also promises improved battery life, with endurance likely close to two weeks, in line with the Watch GT 5’s performance. The device will run HarmonyOS 5.1 and include the usual health tools such as heart rate and sleep tracking.
Design-wise, the GT 6 is expected in 41mm and 46mm sizes, featuring an octagonal bezel and a rotating crown. While Huawei hasn’t confirmed colors yet, leaks point to Brilliant Gold, Flowing Purple, Saddle Brown, Floating White, and Phantom Black for the standard model. The Watch GT 6 Pro, on the other hand, may come in Glacier Gray, Amber Brown, Titanium Silver, Field Green, and Yadan Black.
The watch is expected to be priced between $300 and $350, putting it up against rivals like the Samsung Galaxy Watch 8 and Apple Watch Series 11.
With its mix of extended battery life, fitness-focused features, and a classic design, the Watch GT 6 is shaping up to be Huawei’s next big push in the smartwatch space.
