Boat has launched the Airdopes ProClip in India, bringing open-ear audio technology to a more affordable price segment. The new wireless earbuds are designed for users who want to listen to music, podcasts or calls while remaining aware of their surroundings, making them suitable for daily commutes, office use and outdoor activities.

Priced at Rs 1,599, the Boat Airdopes ProClip is available in Velvet Wine, Silk Grey and Satin White colour options through Boat’s website, Amazon and Flipkart. Unlike traditional earbuds that sit inside the ear canal, the ProClip features a clip-on open-ear design that rests outside the ear. Each earbud weighs 4.6g, making it suitable for extended use during commutes, office hours or workouts.
One of the biggest concerns with open-ear audio products is sound leakage. To address this, Boat has introduced Sonic Seal technology and a dedicated Private Mode. The company says these features help keep audio more contained, reducing the amount of sound that escapes into the surrounding environment. For voice calls, the earbuds also feature AI-powered Environmental Noise Cancellation (ENC) to improve voice clarity in noisy locations.
The Airdopes ProClip is equipped with 12mm dynamic drivers and Air Conduction Technology for audio playback. Connectivity is handled by Bluetooth 6.0, while multi-point support allows users to stay connected to two devices at the same time and switch between them seamlessly.
The charging case houses a 500mAh battery, while each earbud packs a 50mAh cell. Boat claims a total playback time of up to 52 hours with the charging case. The earbuds also carry an IPX4 rating for protection against sweat and light splashes, making them suitable for fitness sessions and outdoor use.
Support for the Boat Hearables app adds features such as battery monitoring, pairing information, sound adjustments, touch control customisation and device diagnostics.
