Just when it seemed that Vivo was done with the Vivo X300 series as it gears up for the Vivo X500 series launch in September, recent reports have revealed the existence of a new X-series model called the Vivo X300e. The handset is expected to debut soon in China, and it is also likely to launch in global markets. In all likelihood, the X300e could make its global debut alongside the Vivo X Fold 6.

Interestingly, the Vivo X300e is tipped to feature the same Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset that powers the recently announced Vivo X300 FE. With both phones expected to target the premium flagship segment, buyers may wonder whether it is worth waiting for the X300e or picking up the X300 FE. Here’s how the two compare based on everything known so far.

4Vivo X300e vs Vivo X300 FE: Battery and charging

Battery capacity could be where the X300e pulls ahead.

Leaks suggest the X300e will feature a 7,015mAh rated battery, which could translate to a typical capacity of around 7,200mAh. It is also expected to support 90W fast charging.

The Vivo X300 FE packs a smaller 6,500mAh battery but supports both 90W wired charging and 40W wireless charging.

At present, there is no confirmation that the X300e will support wireless charging. If wireless charging is important to you, the X300 FE remains the safer option.
