A JD listing of the upcoming Huawei Nova 5 Pro. It contains image of all the four color variants of the smartphone along with its two storage models. Also, Huawei has released a new teaser video for the upcoming Nova 5 series of smartphones. The video stars Jackson Yee from popular Chinese boy band named TFBoys. The video showcases that the Nova 5 series is aimed towards the youth. At the end of the video, Yee can be seen holding the black and green variants of the Nova 5 Pro smartphone.

The JD listing reveals that the Huawei Nova 5 Pro will be available in four colors like Dilemma Forest (Green), Midsummer Purple, Bright Black and Coral Orange. The back panel of the phone has four cameras and LED flash. The front panel of the Nova 5 Pro is fitted with a waterdrop-style notch display. It seems to be equipped with a tall aspect ratio. The lack of rear-facing fingerprint sensor suggests that it could be equipped with an in-display fingerprint scanner. However, there is a possibility that it could be featuring a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.

UPDATE: The Nova 5 Pro JD listing has been updated. It is now allowing customers in China to pre-book the phone by paying a safe deposit. The smartphone will be releasing on June 21 and its first sale will be carried out on June 28. The configurations of the quad camera setup of the phone is mentioned at the bottom left of the image. It features a 48-megapixel main sensor, a 16-megapixel ultrawide lens, a 2-megapixel depth sensor and a 2-megapixel ToF (Time of Flight) lens.

Huawei Nova 5 Pro Promotional Video

Only the rear side of the Nova 5 Pro is visible in the promotional video. The smartphone features a separately placed camera sensor alongside the three vertically arranged camera lenses. It does not feature a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. It appears like the handset showcased in the promo video is the Nova 5 Pro.

Rumors are rife that the Huawei Nova 5 Pro is equipped with a 6.39-inch full HD+ AMOLED display. It will be fueled by Kirin 980 chipset. For shooting selfies, it may feature a 25-megapixel front camera. The quad camera setup on its rear could be featuring a 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 sensor and a ToF (Time of Flight) lens. It could be featuring a 3,500mAh battery that will carry support for 40W SuperCharge fast charging technology.

The Huawei Nova 5 Pro is expected to go official with Nova 5 and Nova 5i smartphones on June 21.
