Realme is rolling out an update to the Realme 3 Pro that brings some interesting new features. The update brings also includes some optimizations and removes some annoyances.

Realme 3 Pro October update

Arriving as RMX1851EX_11_A.20, the update includes October 2019’s security patch, Dark Mode, a new charging animation, and a toggle in the notification center to easily switch between SIMs.

● Updated firmware version to optimize the gaming experience.

The Realme 3 Pro was announced in April of this year. It has a 6.3-inch FHD+ display with Gorilla Glass 5 protection. The device has Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 710 processor under the hood and comes with 4GB or 6GB of RAM and up to 128GB of storage. There is a 16MP camera on the rear along with a 5MP depth sensor and a fingerprint scanner. You also get a 25MP camera in front for video calls and selfies.

The phone has a 4045mAh battery with support for VOOC 3.0 (20W) fast-charge technology albeit via a MicroUSB port. There is still an audio jack thankfully and Realme says it will get updated to Android 10 in Q1 2020.
