Xiaomi’s marketing head Yao Liang has disclosed that the top-end Mi 10 Pro model packing 12GB RAM and 512GB storage will go on sale on February 25 via Xiaomi Mall, Jingdong, Tmall, and Suning. The model adopts a hefty price tag of 5999 yuan ($853).

The marketing manager acknowledges difficulties encountered by fans who had placed orders during the flash sale. The delays in shipment, he noted, was mainly due to the Coronavirus epidemic situation in China which had adversely affected the company’s production capacity. The company is using this sale of the 12GB+256GB version as a way of calming things down since the version is high in stock. In addition, when placing the order, you can see the expected delivery time with a maximum waiting time of 21 days.

Since Xiaomi launched the Mi 10 series on February 13, the flagship models have done three rounds of snap up sales with all available units getting sold out in seconds in each round. During the flash sales, products worth over 200 million yuan were reportedly sold.
