Huawei has added two more devices to its portfolio with the launch of MateBook 13s and 14s. The notebooks bring a plethora of new additions including a sharp metal body that weighs as light as 1.32kg and 1.43kg for the latter. Available in three shades, these notebooks will go on their maiden sale on September 25.

These laptops check all the boxes when it comes to performance as they are being powered by Intel‘s high-performance 11th gen processors along with an upgraded shark fin cooling system. Large screens with 2520 x 1680 resolution, up to 90Hz refresh rate, support for 1.07 billion colors, 100% sRGB, 60Wh battery that allows up to 13 hours of battery life, and support for super-fast charging with 3 hours of screen on time with a charge of 15 minutes, are some of the major highlights of these new machines.

Huawei MateBook 13s and 14s also offer an excellent camera that supports face unlocking, as well as Huawei’s self-developed fully automatic laser welding technology. And with a 90% screen-to-body ratio, users will enjoy a truly immersive experience.

Huawei has also leveled up the sound department with the support of Huawei sound-enabled stereo, open quiet space calls, recognize and filter vocal interference, and new smart voices options.

Other than the major hardware upgrade, what’s even more exciting is the support for Huawei’s mobile apps, bridging the gap between the PC app ecosystem and mobile app ecosystem for the first time. This opens a window for users to enjoy both the productivity of Windows and Huawei’s rich mobile app ecosystem on the PC. This comes as Huawei mobile application engine public test program and has been opened for older models as well, with the first batch to get it on September 25 and the second starting October 25.
