A Huawei employee has revealed in a social media post that the company is working on the next iteration of its proprietary operating system. As per the post, HarmonyOS 3 is just around the corner and the reveal is arriving soon.
According to an ITHome report, an employee of the Chinese tech giant has shared that the next generation of HarmonyOS is planned to be unveiled soon. Notably, the company is planning on holding the Huawei Developer Conference on October 24. During this event, the brand is set to showcase its new HarmonyOS 3.0. Similarly, the HarmonyOS 2.0 had also been launched during the September 2020 Huawei Developer Conference.
Since then, the company has launched a number of products that support HarmonyOS, including smartphones, IoT and other smart products. One of the recent smartphones that launched with HarmonyOS is the Nova 9 series. As of right now, the company has confirmed that the number of users that upgraded to its proprietary operating system has crossed 120 million and it expected the overall user base to surpass 300 million by the end of this year.
