The information arrives from a YouTube video from XEETECHCARE. While we have already covered a number of reports and rumors related to the Galaxy S22 Ultra’s specifications, the new video offers us more details about its S Pen. With the South Korean tech giant being intent on continuing the Note series with its annual flagship’s Ultra models, the new information might be welcomed by Galaxy Note fans. Reportedly, the brand has improved upon the stylus, which will now be three times faster than the Galaxy Note20 Ultra.

Looking at the video, the company has worked on the S Pen to reduce the input delay or latency for the S Pen to just 2.8 ms when paired with the Galaxy S22 Ultra. This is more than three times faster than the 9 ms input lag of the S Pen on the Galaxy Note20 Ultra. Through this improvement, the YouTuber claims that Samsung is aiming on offering users a handwriting experience that is close to the real deal. He even called it as “the fastest, most realistic S Pen with 3x improved pen latency.”

Apart from this, the Tech YouTuber also shared that the upcoming top end model of the flagship series will be the first to support the 12 bit HDR standard. Unfortunately, this is still an unconfirmed report, so take it with a pinch of salt for now. The Galaxy S22 series is expected to launch sometime in February 2022, so stick around for more updates.
