OnePlus is gearing up to launch new smart TVs in India soon, expanding its existing lineup. A new report has stated that these new TVs will be a part of the Y1S TV series and also revealed some of its key specifications as well.
According to 91Mobiles and known tipster Ishan Agarwal, the Chinese smartphone maker is planning on launching new Y1S smart TVs in two sizes. This includes a 32 inch and 43 inch sizes. In other words, the two new models will also be available for purchase alongside the existing U1S, Y series, and Q1 lineup, which are being sold in India via Amazon, Flipkart, and the company’s official website as well.
Ishan further revealed certain key specifications of the upcoming Y1S TV series. The new OnePlus TVs will run on Android TV 11 OS and will feature Dolby Audio on its 20W speakers. The display will support HDR10+, with its connectivity options include dual band WiFi, which is an upgrade over the 2.4GHz only option on the existing models. Notably, this news is also in line with a previous report that talked about OnePlus launching new TVs in India soon. The new TVs will also take on the likes of other Chinese brands like Realme, Xiaomi, and others. So stay tuned for more updates regarding this matter.
