Last month, Google officially debuted Android 13 and later released stable builds on its Pixel devices. Now, Oppo has started rolling out the Android 13-based ColorOS 13 stable build for its flagship Find X5 and Find X5 Pro, becoming the first brand other than Google to do so.
Select regions are starting to receive the official version. Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, Malaysia, France, and Australia’s Oppo Find X5 Pro phones will begin receiving notifications for an upcoming software update. Oppo Find X users in France and the United Arab Emirates will also soon receive the update notification.
To receive the update, your Find X5 Pro needs to be on the A.22 software version. As for the vanilla Find X5, it needs to be on A.18/A.19 to proceed with the update.
ColorOS 13 isn’t a major leap from ColorOS 12, but rather a more polished version of it. The new operating system features a new design language called “Anamorphic”, better Material You integration, new animations, improved AOD, and a media playback widget for Spotify.
