Jio 5G compatibility was just added via the Nothing OS 1.1.5 upgrade to the Nothing Phone (1) In India. Now, the company has started distributing yet another update for its Nothing Phone (1). The Google AR Core is now supported on the Nothing Phone (1) thanks to the most recent firmware upgrade, NothingOS 1.1.6. This marks the sixth software update for the Nothing Phone (1) in the last three months.

Other than Google AR Core support, the new update also brings along the September Android security patch, and a few camera improvements including sharper video recording. The Nothing launcher has been optimized for a much more fluid experience and the Flip to Glyph animation has been made more reactive. You can check out the entire changelog below.

The update weighs around 62MB. As usual, the update will be rolling out in batches, and it is likely to arrive on all of the devices in the coming days.
