Earlier this week, Realme globally unveiled the Realme 10 4G, which features the MediaTek Helio G99 chipset. Today, the Chinese manufacturer silently unveiled the Realme 10 in China. Even though the home market has received the 5G version of the device, the company does not mention “5G” in its moniker. As for the key features of the device, it offers a 90Hz LCD display, 50-megapixel triple cameras, and a Dimensity 700 chipset.

The Realme 10 has a 6.6-inch LCD panel with a teardrop notch. It offers a 90Hz refresh rate, a 180Hz touch sampling rate, a 20.06:9 aspect ratio, 401 ppi pixel density, 400 nits of brightness, and a 90.4 percent screen-to-body ratio. Under the hood, it packs a 5,000mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging via the USB-C port.
The Dimensity 700 is the driving force of the Realme 10. The device comes with 8 GB of LPDDR4x RAM, 6 GB of virtual RAM, and 128 GB / 256 GB of UFS 2.2 storage. It runs on Android 12 OS, which is overlaid with Realme UI 3.0. There is a dedicated microSD card slot onboard for additional storage.
The Realme 10 has an 8-megapixel camera on the front for selfies and video calls. The LED-assisted rear camera setup has a 50-megapixel main camera, a 2-megapixel macro, and an AI lens. On the connectivity front, the device offers dual SIM support, 5G, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, and a 3.5mm audio jack. It also features a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. The device measures 164.4 x 75.1 x 8.1mm and weighs around 191 grams.
Realme 10 (5G) price and availability
The Realme 10 has arrived in China in two variants: 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage and 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage. Both models are priced at 1,299 Yuan (~$181) and 1,599 Yuan (~$222), respectively. It is available for purchase in China in shades like Rijin Doujin (gold) and Stone Crystal Black.
