Acer has unveiled of its latest gaming monitor, the Nitro XZ452CU V. Designed to cater to the needs of avid gamers, the monitor boasts a range of features to enhance the overall gaming experience.
With a curvature of 1500R, the Nitro XZ452CU V has a 44-inch 8-bit VA panel with a resolution of 5,120 x 1,440 pixels and a refresh rate of 165 Hz. This ensures smooth gameplay with reduced motion blur. The monitor has a response time of 1 ms and covers 90% of the DCI-P3 color gamut. It also has Vesa HDR400 certification which enables it to achieve a peak brightness of 450 nits.
The monitor has an impressive selection of I/O ports including two HDMI 2.1 ports, one DP1.4 port, one USB-C port that supports 90 W fast charging, two USB 3.2 Type-A ports, and an RJ45 Ethernet jack. The inclusion of the USB-C port is particularly noteworthy as it enables users to quickly charge their devices while gaming.
Eye protection is a priority for Acer, and the Nitro XZ452CU V features various eye protection features such as BlueLightShield Pro, ComfyView, and Eyesafe 2.0 certification. AMD FreeSync Premium Pro is also supported. For audio, the monitor comes equipped with two in-built 3 Watt speakers, along with a USB-B port that doubles up as a KVM switch.
