The bulbs come in various colors and styles, allowing you to create different moods and atmospheres in your home. However, the company has surprised everyone with its latest addition: Philips Hue now includes smart cameras and sensors with Hue Secure line. Here are the details…
Philips Hue Line Gains Smart Cameras and Sensors
Today, Philips introduced the newest addition to their Hue family, known as Secure Cameras and Sensors. The Philips Hue Secure line features a variety of devices, including a wired camera, a battery-powered camera, a floodlight camera, and contact sensors. All of these cameras are capable of recording in 1080p resolution and come with night vision and motion detection functionalities.
The cameras also support two-way communication, allowing you to talk to someone who is at your door. In addition to the cameras, the Philips Hue Secure line also includes contact sensors. These sensors can be placed on doors and windows to detect when they are opened or closed. The sensors can be used to trigger alarms, or to automate other smart home devices, such as lights or locks.
