Intel Launches Arc A580: A $179 Graphics Card for 1080p Gaming
Intel has launches its Arc A580 graphics card, a budget-friendly gaming GPU for $179. The new Arc A580 is based on Intel’s top-tier ACM-G10 GPU, but it has a few features disabled in order to hit the lower price point. For example, it has 24 Xe-Cores instead of 32, and it doesn’t support Intel’s XeSS upscaling technology. However, it still supports ray tracing and has a number of other features that make it a good value for the price.
In terms of performance, the Arc A580 is comparable to the AMD Radeon RX 6600 and the Nvidia GeForce RTX 3050. It can handle most popular games at 1080p with high settings, and it can even play some games at 1440p with medium settings. Here are some of the key features of the Intel Arc A580:
- 24 Xe-Cores
- 8GB GDDR6 memory
- 185W board power
- Supports ray tracing
- Supports Intel Deep Link
- Supports Intel XeSS
