Alongside the launch of the Honor 200 Series smartphones globally, the brand also introduced a new laptop. It is the Honor MagicBook Pro 16 that first debuted at MWC this year in February and then released in China the next month. The machine packs a premium design along with powerful specifications. The Honor MagicBook Pro 16 sports a full-metal design with innovative 3D colouring spray technology. It weighs just 1.79 kg and measures 19.9mm thick. 

In terms of display, the MagicBook Pro 16 features a 16-inch screen bearing a resolution of 3,072 x 1,920 pixels and a 165Hz refresh rate. The display has slim bezels measuring just 2.36mm and it offers a 93 percent screen-to-body ratio. It also packs 100 percent DCI-P3 colour gamut, HDR 400, 500 nits peak brightness, and dynamic dimming technology. On the audio front, the device is equipped with six speakers including four subwoofers and two tweeters. It is touted to be the first Windows-based laptop with Spatial audio. 

Under the hood, the Honor MagicBook Pro 16 houses the Intel Core Ultra 5 processor. There is an integrated Intel Arc GPU onboard. The device features a heat dissipation system. The laptop offers two modes – a 65W high-powered mode maximising the processor’s power and a 50W smart mode for a balanced performance. The machine is backed by a 75Whr battery unit that is claimed to last up to 12 hours on a full charge. 

The Honor MagicBook Pro 16 runs on Windows OS with MagicRing which enables easy transfer and synchronization of tasks and notifications across devices. There are also some AI-powered features onboard. 

The Honor MagicBook Pro 16 starts at EUR 1,299.99 in France. It is offered in White and Purple colours. The laptop will be available in select markets with prices varying depending on the region.
