Xiaomi is gearing up to launch its highly anticipated Pad 7 Series, a successor to the successful Pad 6 series. This new lineup is expected to feature two models: the Xiaomi Pad 7 and the Pad 7 Pro. The Pro model has already appeared on China’s 3C certification, as well as Singapore’s IMDA database. Now, tipster DCS (Digital Chat Station) has revealed some key details about these upcoming tablets.

As per a recent Weibo post by DCS, the Xiaomi Pad 7 will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, an 11-inch 144Hz 3K LCD display, and a 10,000mAh battery with 120W fast charging.

Previous leaks claim that the Pad 7 Pro will be equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor and a 144Hz OLED display. The battery capacity and charging speed are expected to be the same as the standard Pad 7. DSC also shared that both of these tablets will debut with HyperOS 2.0, which is expected to launch alongside the Xiaomi 15 series.
These tablets were previously rumored to debut in Q3 of 2024, however, they are now expected to come in October alongside the Xiaomi 15 series. Both tablets will initially launch in the Chinese market and will likely arrive in the global market at a later date. Since the Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro has already cleared Singapore’s IMDA certifications, we at least know that the brand plans to ship these tablets outside of China at some point.
