Samsung Galaxy A36 has been officially announced on March 2, 2025.
The device measures 162.9 x 78.2 x 7.4 mm and weighs 195g. It has a Gorilla Glass Victus+ front and back with a plastic frame. It supports dual Nano-SIM + eSIM (max 2 active at a time) and has an IP67 rating for dust and water resistance.
The 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display features a 120Hz refresh rate, 1200 nits HBM, and 1900 nits peak brightness, with a resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels (~385 ppi density). Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+ provides protection, and it supports an Always-on display.
Running on Android 15 with One UI 7, the phone is powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 (4 nm) chipset, Octa-core CPU (4×2.4 GHz Cortex-A78 & 4×1.8 GHz Cortex-A55), and Adreno 710 GPU. It offers 128GB 6GB RAM, 128GB 8GB RAM, 256GB 8GB RAM, and 256GB 12GB RAM (UFS 2.2), but lacks a microSD slot.
The triple-camera setup includes a 50MP main camera (OIS), 8MP ultrawide, and 5MP macro. The 12MP selfie camera supports 4K video recording. Connectivity includes Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, NFC, and USB Type-C 2.0 (OTG). Samsung Galaxy A36 features stereo speakers, an under-display fingerprint sensor, and a 5000mAh battery with 45W fast charging. Available in Lavender, Black, White, and Lime.
