LG Electronics will introduce its 2025 LG Gram laptop lineup at CES 2025 in January. The lineup includes the gram Pro, gram Pro 2-in-1, gram, and gram Book. These models feature on-device AI capabilities powered by LG’s gram AI technology, offering improved performance and productivity while maintaining the lightweight design the series is known for.
New AI Features with Gram AI
The 2025 LG Gram laptops include Gram Chat On-Device, which processes data locally using a compact AI model. This ensures quick and secure performance without requiring an internet connection. Key features include Time Travel, which allows users to revisit previously accessed web pages, documents, and multimedia files.
The laptops also feature Gram chat Cloud, powered by GPT-4o, to provide cloud-based AI services. This includes access to a wide knowledge base and integration with calendar and email systems for managing schedules and communication. The cloud service is free for the first year.
By combining local and cloud-based AI, the laptops provide a personalized experience that adapts to user needs.
Performance Upgrades with Intel Processors
The new gram laptops are powered by Intel’s latest processors. The Intel Core Ultra H-Series (Arrow Lake) focuses on traditional PC performance, while the Intel Core Ultra V-Series (Lunar Lake) enhances AI-based features.
Arrow Lake models deliver improved processing and graphics performance, while Lunar Lake models include Microsoft’s “Copilot+” tools for features such as real-time video subtitle translation and AI image generation.
