Samsung Galaxy M16 has been officially announced on Feb. 27, 2025.
The smartphone features a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate, 1080 x 2340 resolution (~385 ppi), and 800 nits peak brightness (HBM). With an IP54 rating, it is dust-protected and resistant to water splashes. It runs on Android 15 with One UI 7, offering up to 6 major Android upgrades.
Powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 (6nm) chipset, the octa-core CPU (2×2.4 GHz Cortex-A76 & 6×2.0 GHz Cortex-A55) is paired with a Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. Storage options include 128GB (4GB/6GB/8GB RAM) and 256GB (8GB RAM), with microSDXC support (using a shared SIM slot).
The triple-camera setup consists of a 50MP (f/1.8, AF) main sensor, 5MP (f/2.2, ultrawide), and 2MP (f/2.4, macro) lens, supporting 1080p@30fps video recording with gyro-EIS. The 13MP (f/2.0) selfie camera records 1080p@30fps. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, GPS (GALILEO, GLONASS, BDS, QZSS), and USB Type-C 2.0. Samsung Galaxy M16 has stereo speakers but no 3.5mm jack.
A 5000mAh battery supports 25W wired charging. Additional features include a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, accelerometer, gyro, compass, and virtual proximity sensing. Available in Thunder Black, Mint Green, and Blush Pink.
