Tecno Camon 40 Premier 5G has been officially announced on March 3, 2025.
The smartphone features a premium design with dimensions of 164.3 x 74.6 x 7.3 mm and supports dual Nano-SIM cards. It sports a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate, offering an ultra-smooth experience and an impressive 89.7% screen-to-body ratio. With a resolution of 1080 x 2436 pixels (~393 ppi density) and an always-on display, visuals are vibrant and sharp.
Running on Android 15 with HIOS 15, the device is powered by the Mediatek Dimensity 7300 (4 nm) chipset, featuring an octa-core CPU (4×2.5 GHz Cortex-A78 & 4×2.0 GHz Cortex-A55) and Mali-G615 MC2 GPU for high performance. It comes with two storage variants: 256GB 8GB RAM and 256GB 12GB RAM, though it lacks a card slot for expansion.
The rear dual-camera setup includes a 50 MP wide sensor (f/1.9, PDAF, OIS) and an 8 MP ultrawide lens, supporting 4K HDR video recording. The 50 MP front camera (f/2.5, PDAF) ensures high-quality selfies. Dual speakers deliver Hi-Res 24-bit/192kHz audio, but there is no 3.5mm headphone jack.
Connectivity options include GPS, NFC, an infrared port, FM radio, and USB Type-C 2.0 with OTG. Tecno Camon 40 Premier 5G is equipped with a 5200 mAh battery supporting 45W wired charging. Available in Emerald Lake Green, Galaxy Black, and Glacier White.
