The device features a durable and stylish design, measuring 165.8 x 75.9 x 7.8 mm and weighing 196g. It supports dual Nano-SIM cards and is dust-tight, water-resistant, and drop-resistant up to 1.5 meters, complying with MIL-STD-810H (note: not guaranteed for extreme conditions). It sports a 6.67-inch IPS LCD with a 120Hz refresh rate, 725 nits brightness, and a 720 x 1604 pixel resolution (~264 ppi).

Running on Android 15 with Realme UI 6.0, it is powered by a Unisoc T7250 chipset (12nm), featuring an octa-core CPU (2×1.8 GHz Cortex-A75 & 6×1.6 GHz Cortex-A55) and Mali-G57 MP1 GPU. Realme C71 offers two memory variants: 128GB storage with either 4GB or 6GB RAM, and supports microSDXC expansion.
