OnePlus 13T:  What’s known so far

As per reports, the OnePlus 13T is set to feature a 6.3-inch flat display with a 1.5K resolution, delivering sharp visuals in a compact form factor. Despite its smaller size, it will house a massive 6,200mAh battery, paired with 80W fast charging.

The device will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, providing flagship-level performance. Additionally, OnePlus is expected to integrate its WindChaser gaming engine, which dynamically adjusts CPU frequency and voltage to optimize gaming performance.

While the official design remains under wraps, leaks suggest two possible rear camera arrangements: a vertical or horizontal dual-camera setup. Shown above is a mock render that showcases the OnePlus 13T with a camera module similar to the older Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite. Leaks have revealed that the 13T will feature a metal middle frame and a glass back.

The OnePlus 13T’s pricing is also a major highlight, with leaks indicating that the OnePlus 13T could be the most affordable Snapdragon 8 Elite compact flagship, expected to launch for under 4,000 Yuan (~$550). The device will compete with the Oppo Find X8s, a compact flagship equipped with a 6.3-inch OLED panel with a 1.5K resolution, a Dimensity 9400 Plus chipset, a 5,700mAh battery, and triple 50-megapixel cameras.

Since the announcement was made on April Fools’ Day, it’s advisable to remain cautious, as brands sometimes use this occasion for playful reveals. While a compact flagship phone from OnePlus is expected this month, it is advisable to wait for further reports to see whether the device will be called the OnePlus 13T.
