Vivo Y29s has been officially announced on March 11, 2025.
This smartphone features dimensions of 167.3 x 77 x 8.2 mm and weighs 199 g. It has a glass front, plastic frame, and plastic back, offering IP64 dust-tight and water-resistant protection (against water splashes), with MIL-STD-810H compliance, though not guaranteeing ruggedness in extreme conditions.
The device sports a 6.74-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels, delivering 260 ppi density. It supports a 90Hz refresh rate and can reach a peak brightness of 570 nits (HBM). Running on Android 15 with Funtouch 15, the phone is powered by the Mediatek Dimensity 6300 chipset (6nm), featuring an octa-core CPU (2×2.4 GHz Cortex-A76 & 6×2.0 GHz Cortex-A55) and Mali-G57 MC2 GPU.
Storage options include 256GB internal storage with 8GB RAM (eMMC 5.1), and there is a microSDXC card slot for expandable storage. The 50MP main camera with PDAF, supported by an auxiliary lens, can record 1080p videos. The 5MP front camera also supports video recording.
Vivo Y29s is equipped with a 5500mAh battery (5150mAh for EU and LATAM versions), supporting 15W wired charging. It includes stereo speakers, a 3.5mm headphone jack, FM radio, and NFC (region-dependent). Available in Titanium Gold and Dark Green colors.
