A new flagship Realme smartphone has just been announced in China. But despite offering some premium specs, the new Realme GT 7 was announced as an affordable flagship device. So here are all the details like its specs, features, pricing, and more.
Realme GT 7: Everything offered by the new Budget Flagship
The Realme GT 7 sports a tall 6.78-inch OLED display with a 1.5K resolution, 144Hz refresh rate, 2600Hz touch sampling rate, 100 percent DCI P3 color gamut, 4608Hz PWM dimming, and 6500 nits of peak brightness. Under the hood, this smartphone is equipped with MediaTek’s latest and greatest Dimensity 9400+ SoC, which is a 3nm processor. This chipset is paired with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage.
A huge 7,200mAh battery pack powers this device, which supports 100W wired fast charging as well. For photography, the rear features a 50MP Sony IMX896 primary camera along with an 8MP ultra wide angle lens. Meanwhile, the front houses a 16MP selfie shooter. The Realme GT 7 runs on the Android 15 OS based Realme UI 6.0 custom skin out of the box. Other notable features include an IP68 + IP69 rating for water and dust resistance, Bluetooth 5.4, an ultrasonic in display fingerprint scanner, an infrared sensor, and stereo speakers.
Pricing, Colors, & Availability
Realme announced the base GT 7 model in three color options, namely Blue, White and Black. It is also available in five storage configurations, so let’s check out their pricing:
- 12GB + 256GB – 2,599 yuan (355 US Dollars)
- 16GB + 256GB – 2,899 yuan (396 US Dollars)
- 12GB + 512GB – 2,999 yuan (410 US Dollars)
- 16GB + 512GB – 3,299 yuan (451 US Dollars)
- 16GB + 1TB – 3,799 yuan (519 US Dollars)
The first sale of the Realme GT 7 will officially kick off in China on 29th April 2025.
