Back in February, a leak suggested that the Redmi K80 Ultra would come with a battery larger than 7,000mAh. That report now seems to be accurate, as a certification listing has confirmed some key details.

Spotted by XpertPick, the upcoming K80 Ultra has surfaced on China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (CMIIT) database under the model number 25060RK16C.

According to the listing, the phone carries a typical battery capacity of 7270mAh. Given how phone makers tend to round up for marketing purposes, it’s reasonable to expect Xiaomi to promote this as a 7500mAh battery.

Redmi K80 Ultra specifications (rumored)

While Xiaomi hasn’t made anything official, leaks surrounding the K80 Ultra have painted a fairly complete picture. The phone is expected to feature a 6.8-inch LTPS OLED display with a 1.5K resolution.

Powering the device will likely be the Dimensity 9400 Plus chipset from MediaTek. And the 7500mAh cell will be paired with 100W wired charging. The camera setup may include a 50-megapixel triple camera array, and the chassis is rumored to have a metal middle frame.

The K80 Ultra is not launching in isolation. Competitors like iQOO, Realme, and OnePlus are also reportedly working on their own Dimensity 9400 Plus-powered devices.

Among them are the iQOO Neo 10S Pro, Realme Neo 7 Pro, and OnePlus Ace 5s—all expected to offer OLED displays with 1.5K resolution and batteries exceeding 7000mAh.

Xiaomi is gearing up to launch the Xiaomi 15s Pro and Pad 7 Ultra in China today. These will be the company’s first devices to feature its in-house XRING O1 silicon. With that out of the way, the Redmi K80 Ultra is now expected to launch as early as next month.
